IEC's management coaching services
assist managers in managing diversity-related issues
in the workplace or implementing a diversity initiative.
The goal is to develop managers into role models for
the diversity initiative. This includes assisting them
in:
- Developing a clear and concise
understanding of diversity and diversity management;
- Making the business connection
between diversity management and organizational success;
- Understanding the process
approach to diversity management and the appropriate
process for their organization;
- Recognizing and managing their
own personal diversity issues; and
- Developing the skills to manage
diversity-related situations in the workplace.
Our
services are highly customized to meet the needs of
the individual and the organization.
Generally they include the following activities:
- A team of IEC associates
is assigned to each organization for the duration
of the project.
- The parameters of the consulting
services are discussed and agreed upon such that expectations
of services and results are clear.
- The frequency and duration
of the formal consulting sessions are set.
- The desired mix between group
and one-on-one sessions is discussed and agreed upon.
- "General Consulting Hours"
are included for flexibility and to allow for a rapid
response to issues or situations that may arise where
the management team seeks immediate coaching.
