| Mr.Shackelford has over 20 years
of work experience including 12 years of management experience. He received his B.S. degree in Physics
from Clark College and his M.S. in Applied Nuclear
Science from Georgia Institute of Technology. Formal management training was completed
at the Babcock Center for Management Development
at Wake Forest University.
Mr.Shackelford
has spent the past 10 years assisting public and private
sector firms in their efforts to address work force
diversity issues. His expertise includes: designing, developing and conducting
diversity training programs; providing minority recruitment
training and program development assistance to human
resources departments; and conducting work environment
assessment studies designed to identify issues affecting
the retention and promotion of minorities and women.
Mr.
Shackelford is a recognized leader in the field of multicultural
human resources consulting.
He is the author of the book "Minority
Recruiting...Building the Strategies and Relationships
for Effective Diversity Recruiting."
He is also published in the Society of Human
Resources Management (SHRM) Journal, the Journal of
Staffing and Recruiting, Bureau of National Affairs,
Resources Management, Recruiting Trends and he Black
Collegian. In
1997, Mr. Shackelford was elected President of the Greater
Atlanta Chapter of the American Society of Training
and Development (ASTD). |
